HelpBee Technologies Private Limited ("Help Bee," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and safeguard your Personal Data when you use our mobile application, website, and services (collectively, the "Platform").
This Policy is compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable Indian laws. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, Help Bee is the "Data Fiduciary," and you are the "Data Principal."

- Displaying tasks within your selected radius
- Calculating approximate distances between you and tasks
- Enabling navigation features to task locations
- Displaying your approximate area (not exact location) to other users
Important: Your exact GPS coordinates are NEVER shared with other users. We only display approximate distances (e.g., "2 km away").
4. Disclosure of Personal Data
We do NOT sell your Personal Data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

- Your public profile information (name, photo, bio, ratings, reviews)
- Approximate location (distance only, not exact address)
- Verification badges (if KYC verified)
- Task details you post publicly
4.2 With Service Providers
We share data with trusted third parties who assist in our operations:

- Payment Security: PCI-DSS compliant payment processing through Razorpay
Important: Your payment card details are NEVER stored on our servers. All payment processing is handled by Razorpay, an RBI-licensed Payment Aggregator.
6. Data Retention
We retain your Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Policy:

7. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023
As a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights:
7.1 Right to Access
You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether your Personal Data is being processed and access a summary of your Personal Data and processing activities.
7.2 Right to Correction
You have the right to correct, complete, or update your Personal Data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
7.3 Right to Erasure
You have the right to request erasure of your Personal Data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, subject to legal retention requirements.
7.4 Right to Withdraw Consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time with the same ease with which it was given. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.
7.5 Right to Grievance Redressal
You have the right to have readily available means to register a grievance with us and receive a response.
7.6 Right to Nominate
You have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of your death or incapacity.

9. Children's Privacy
Help Bee is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with Personal Data, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us immediately at privacy@helpbee.in.
10. Cross-Border Data Transfers
Your Personal Data is primarily stored and processed in India. In limited circumstances, data may be transferred to servers outside India for cloud hosting or service delivery. Such transfers are made in compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023, and applicable data protection laws, with appropriate safeguards in place.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy
- Notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification
- Provide at least 30 days' notice for significant changes
Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
